I have been vaping a little over 2 months and I probably have wasted $100 on juice that I'll never use and just items I try out and don't like. I was wondering what others have thought being a waste of money.

ardelleg Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I have spent alot on hardware and juice but don't think of it as wasted.... just part of the learning curve...... tuition?

Compared to 5 bucks a day for cigarettes, my wife and I have saved hundreds and hundreds. The key is to buy the right mod once and buy it right. We have Prodigy V2's and they have worked great for over 3 years!

ZERO!! I am a non smoker now so ZERO $$$$ have been wasted. If you have things sitting around that you've tried and don't like, either donate, trade, or sell, then none is wasted. A LOT of new vapers don't have the funds to buy things New and would love to try your unwanted items. Just a thought

I have gone pretty crazy since I started. Granted, there is a learning curve. Also, it takes a loooooong time to find the right juice and the setup that works for you. I have found what works for me, and now whatever I spend on maintenance (cartos, juice, batteries, etc.) is less than the 250 a month I would slend on cigarettes.

I've bought juices that I didn't care for and just let them sit. Went back to them later and either they or my taste changed because I was able to enjoy most of them. Those that I didn't, I've passed on to someone else that would like them. I'm with those that feel like I haven't wasted a single dime. I'm a very happy non-smoker!

I would say I have probably not saved much. But I enjoy vaping much more than smoking. Have I wasted some money on juice? Sure I have. I have also bought hardware that I have outgrown, some I did not like when I tried it first. But even if I spent more, my health is better. What is the value of that?
