You get your "buzz" from smoking due to robbing yourself of oxygen from the carbon monoxide generated in cigarette smoke. Beyond that, smoke gets nicotine and a bus load of other chemicals in smoke into your bloodstream rapidly through the lungs. Vapor does not and cannot do that through the lungs.

As with other drugs, people can develop a tolerance to nicotine the longer they use it. This means that they'd have to increase how much of it they smoke to experience the same buzz. Also, because the high that vaping causes is short-lived, it encourages users to vape more in a short period.Nov 12, 2021

That "Buzz" is your body telling you, you got too much nic in your system.

Well, not so much but it's the same adjacent first cig of the day. If you continue to have the Buzz, THEN it's too much.

Smoking cigs was the same way, that buzz from the first cig of the day thing or after not being able to smoke for 4-5 hours.

Why when I take just one cig that has so little nicotine compared to e-juice, it gives me the same buzz but an even more relaxed and no worry-feeling kinda buzz? It's something to do with the absorption of smoke as compared to glycol?

Robert Dean Senior Member

Thanks a lot guys, I had no idea I was doing it too much. I even wanna stop completely. I just like vaping while studying because it helps me focus. But I don't get any cravings, only after I eat. And if I can't find my e-cig, I won't go crazy looking for it.
