Anyone else who is new to vamping experiencing problems with throat irritation? Believe it or not my throat feels worse off than when I smoked analogs... I know that vamping can't be quite as bad for me so I'm still trying to push on through but I can't seem to get to the heart of the problem...

When I first started vaping I had this problem a lot. I moved down on the level of nicotine I was vaping and it helped quite a bit though I do still have an irritated throat if I vape too much and sometimes first thing in the morning.

I know that some people are sensitive to the PG. Maybe a different mixing ratio and drinking more water can also help as vaping will dehydrate you.

Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I found this technique that significantly reduces the throat irritation I feel after vaporizing. Instead of inhaling to 100% of your lung capacity, try inhaling to 50% and filling the rest of your capacity with a breath of fresh air which acts both as a coolant to your throat and also pushes the warm vapor further down into your lungs and away from your sensitive throat.

Imagine that you are sucking up a thick milkshake through a straw. Once the vapor is in your mouth, near the end of the toke, uncover the carb momentarily, then open your mouth and inhale the cooled mouth vapor along with fresh air into your lungs.
