Some people prefer it. It’s supposed to have no first hit cotton flavor. Chemistry wise they’re both pure cellulose so there is no danger

I heard about rayon is classified as a synthetic fabric and there are chemicals used in doing so are sodium hydroxide, carbon disulfide and sulfuric acid.

There are chemicals used in the production of cotton as well. Rayon is wood fiber processed with chemicals.

I bought a Nord 2 and installed a 1.4ohm ceramic coil inside. I use 12mg salt nicotine but I feel like it's not enough. From what I learned, some people recommend higher mg nicotine for new quitters to make the transition easier. I ordered a 50mg salt nicotine liquid, I used to smoke atleast one pack per day. Did I do the right thing?

A new trend is popping up, with vapers throwing out their cotton balls and replacing them with Rayon Cellucotton. I have heard that it wicks much better than cotton.

This has actually become quite the debate lately. Majority are saying that they will just stick to cotton, but there is also a big percentage saying how safe this Cellucotton is, and that when cotton was first being used as wicking material that it received the same criticism and skepticism.

I am considering giving this a try even after a few have claimed it wouldn't be safe to me in other places. Like you said above 3rutez what is new is often labeled as unsafe at first but a few people have told me it really is ok to use for vaping.

The wickless coil has been around for quite a bit. There are a few people who are using quartz as wicks as well. The things vapers come up with. Truly amazing.

Picked this up at Sally's Beauty Supply for $11 on sale this morning. 500 ft is going to last a very long time. Now I have a bag of organic cotton balls, an 80 count bag of japanese cotton squares, and 500 ft of cellucotton. Wicks for years.

I don't boil my 100% organic cotton . Boiling it will make it dirtier than it was to begin with in my opinion. Cotton absorbs anything it comes in contact with. Unless you have a clean sterile room, don't boil it.
Is it safe to vape with a man made fiber?
It is NOT safe to use to vape with getting it hot enough to vaporize juice gives off the funes of the chemicals used to make it. Don't use this stuff it is not safe.
Is wicking rayon safe?
Rayon is made with a batch of nasty stuff, the theory of safety for wicking is that all these chemicals are removed in the processing for the end result. I just don't know about that, nobody has tested the Rayon for chemical residues left over, that I could find, or quantify what levels are meaningul or not.
