A tank cracker is any e-liquid that is known to cause acrylic tanks to crack, this generally includes cinnamon, citrus, and any other e-liquids that have a relatively high acidity, like many fruits. This is less of a problem these days as many tanks use glass instead of acrylic for this reason.

Below are our house blend elquids that may crack or break plastic tanks. This is may change from time to time with more items added. It is only to be used as a reference. We do not offer refunds for ejuice that breaks plastic tanks or refunds for tanks.

Why do my vape pods crack?

I use the M tank on my Kayfuns, and haven't had it happen yet. I like many of those flavors, too. I keep an extra M tank around, just in case. However, I have seen an apricot flavor melt an Evod in a few seconds. My guess is that a different kind of plastic is used on the Kayfuns.

I have actually witnessed more than a few tanks go all melty when a new juice is added to them. But it's only been with juices that are HEAVY in potential tank killing ingredients.

Cool! I wouldn't think they'd be really vulnerable, but wanted to check. And apricot, huh? That one isn't usually classified as a tank buster. Great info. Thanks! Wonder if the Evod is particularly vulnerable. Anyone else have an Evod melt on them?

My daughter loaded some MBV Wild Cherry into an Evod just before she left work to come home, and before she made it home the tank was done for. She had not seen the disclaimer on the MBV site that Wild Cherry is a tank cracker. We had been using cigalikes for almost 2 years before we got the Evods, so she was not used to having to check.

It is one of the first things I learned of the forum, that some juices were "tank crackers". I have been careful not to use those in my EVOD.

Actually what I was looking for was flavors that people have actually seen crack tanks, not just "Well, we're going to say this on just about everything so no one complains when their ... cracks." It's like every drug, including sugar pills, now has "Do not take with alcohol" on it. The whole cry wolf thing.
