PG is normally used I think as a skin moisturizer...external use. I'd be afraid to use anything intended for that past the expiration date internally. It really isn't that expensive...I guess you just need to ask yourself if it's worth the risk...and try making smaller batches of juice in case the taste is bad.

Here is a little info I found on Dow Chemical PG, I suspect it would be basically the same for any manufacture.
