Replacing smoke with vapor and vaping in a chain means to puff e-liquid almost continuously from the vaping device without waiting or putting it down. If you vape almost regularly throughout the day, you might be a chain vaper. Nevertheless, if you light up your e-cig but do not light it up constantly, you are not a chain vaper.

Chain vaping is when a user takes multiple draws within a small time frame (usually around 5-10 seconds between each draw), keeping the wick from soaking up enough e-juice before the next hit, causing the wick to burn.Jun 20, 2017

I was at my local vape shop today and some guy said you should wait 30 seconds between vapes to let the coil cool down? True or false? I noticed I get more puffs out of a tank the first few tanks and then it drops considerably. The guy was saying its due to chain vaping because the coil was getting hotter.

When I am under stress, I tend to chain vape - just like I chain smoked when I used cigarettes. My vape is almost always in my hand. I have to remind myself to watch how I draw - I have gotten a few dry hits and burnt a few coils by drawing too hard when I was upset.
