All FDA-approved artificial food dyes are safe and none of these carries any more “risk” than another. A few are limited in the way they can be used, and there are seven that are not allowed at all (some reds, yellows and oranges). A study showed that blue food dye can end up in the blood stream.

As long as it's food grade, and you only put in 1 or 2 drops per 30ml, nothing will happen. The taste won't change, only the ejuice color will be different. Most people don't really put in food coloring, as more chemicals added usually means a higher risk of developing some type of issue with vaping.
