Feel free to disagree, but vaping is certainly not harmless. As for what it will do to your PC, it might cause it to collect sticky dust similar to regular smoking (nicotine is sticky too), but to a lesser extent. It shouldn't get smelly and disgusting nearly as fast, but it will eventually.

In a nutshell, don't vape around computers or other electrical devices, it can cause damage and it's not worth it. If you have noticed a drop in performance of your PC/Laptop, maybe its worth having a look inside.Dec 11, 2020

Vaping did not ruin my computer. Vaping probably ruined nobody's computer. However, it's good to keep in mind that electronics and the humid fog we collectively expel into our living spaces don't mix well. I doubt this would have been a problem if I didn't spend as much time in front of this exact computer as I do.

I've had vapor condensation on the inside of my windshield, so vapor can condense. However, condensation usually happens on the surface of items that are colder than the surrounding environment, and non-moving. The interior of your laptop is warmer than the surrounding environment, and the fans move.

Laptop computers typically have their intake ports underneath the laptop. the only exaust vents will be either in the back or on the left had side generally. Smoking damages computers in the same way it damages walls, ceilings, teeth, etc. Cigarette smoke sticks like glue to a lot of things, computers included. Fans get gummed up, causing an increase in dust accumulation on the fan blades, causing increased heat inside the system, causing system failure due to heat.
