I have never used a Evic so a bit ignorant there but what kind of voltage or watts are you running through the coil? About 4.1 volts or 8.5 watts should be about right for a 2 ohm coil. People more familiar with the Evic and tanks you are using may have a better idea but I hope this helps a little until somebody else chips in.

Dark, sweet juice destroys coils faster than do clear ones do. The same is true of high vg juice, as it is thicker. If you don't want to keep replacing heads, some of them can be rebuilt. You Tube has lots of videos on rebuilding.

We have Kanger single coil tanks, and I have been managing to get at least a few extra uses out of each coil just by cleaning them. I have not gotten up the courage to try dry burning yet, but I did just order some organic cotton to try my hand at re-wicking.
