Well a vape will mostly just vape the thc off the outside of the stems. I have tried it a few times but in my opinion, its not worth it man. I just toss them now.

That's cuz you smoked it. When you smoke stems you get a headache because the person growing the weed didn't flush all of the chemicals out and it stays in the stem, so smoking a stem means smoking chemicals.
