I also have this, just recently confirmed by CT, 7 years of vaping, unflavoured for 5 years. Lungs were healthy before I started to vape. I had not smoked for 10 years before vaping and had no issues.

Had you noticed any shortness of breath or other symptoms before your recent scan? Does your doctor advice a course of treatment for you?

Vapntime Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Yes, sorry I wasn't clear my shortness of breath was when I was trying to exercise or walk up a large flight of stairs etc. I also have mild scarring as well, most likely from pneumonia which was earlier in the year. Yes I was vaping.

I hope both of you recover quickly and return to full health - it does look as if full recovery is possible unless advanced, which is good. I think, unfortunately, it is going to take a very long time to have a clear overview of nicotine vaping and it's relative risks.
