Yes, your sense of taste and smell should return to normal once you're off the analogs for a bit. How long it takes varies from person to person. Usually, you'll start noticing some change within a couple weeks completely off analogs. Vaping doesn't leave tar and smoke residue which blocks some of your ability to taste/smell like cigarettes do.
