I find there's a slight oily residue on the inside of my car windows, too, but I never smoked analogs inside the car and this was before I started vaping. I think some of the film comes from outside the car (that oily film on the road that the cars in front of you kick up) and enters through the air vents.

most oily films that are attached to windshields of cars are due to human moisture when exhaling and dirt/dust from the outside. also using any AC/heat in the car will also produce small amounts of moisture and attach to anything smooth IE glass. when i was a mechanic i would have to answer this questiona ll the time for non-smokers.
