Mine have been swollen for years as well. And I've had the biopsy to rule out lymphoma. I have a chronic sinus infection and allergies. And, yes, a cold or other infection can make them extremely painful, and it can make swallowing more difficult.

But really, get it checked out. Not to go overboard, (you're already freaked out) but people do die from strep throat. So you want to make sure to eliminate that or something like it. No need to stress, just go to a doctor. Yelp your area for walk in clinics, and it may run you the price of a mod ....but let's face it, one less mod and none of us would ever notice.

Because of the shipping ban, I can no longer get the juice I have been vaping for 2 years. They have stopped shipping them to my local store and I cant order it myself so I am done. I wasn't a smoker before, I just enjoyed vaping, using a nord and buying 1 coil and bottle of juice per month was cheap, and I never noticed any bad health effects.

An ode to TC vaping
More than 5500 puffs and 120ml later the cotton still looks fine and it never tasted burnt. After more than a year of TC vaping I'm still impressed how good TC mode performs and how much longer the coil and cotton will last than in power mode. In power mode I could barely reach 1500 puffs before having to rewick.
