Mouth ulcers, or canker sores, can be caused by stress and acidic foods. And it turns out that vaping is another major cause of mouth ulcers as well due to the high temperature produced by vapes. This comparative study between former smokers and e-cigarette users found that vape users are more susceptible to ulcers and inflammation.

The good bacteria become stressed and have a significant inflammatory response which primes e-cigarette users for disease. Dry mouth, mouth ulcers, and more cavities have also been seen in young people who are vaping.Sep 7, 2021

A pg allergy is quite possible. Other members here, have reported the same issues. I'm only sensitive to it, so I can't give you accurate advice. Many vendors do make max vg (80+), you can try with that, first. There are other vendors that specialize in 100% vg, such as Vape Kitchen. Ask your supplier if they offer something like that.
