My understanding is that PG will be absorbed by your lungs, but if you do not hold the vapor in less will be absorbed. The nicotine is mostly absorbed in your throat and nasal passages, and if you exhale through your nose, without holding the vapor in your lungs, you will get a good nicotine hit without absorbing as much PG.
