That's a nasty one... I had hot flashes for quite awhile after going through the change. Odd things can set them off and it varies for everyone. I had hot flashes that would literally steam up my glasses whenever I cleaned the cat litter box. I'd be really bummed if vaping did it to me.

Nicotine level too high? I'm down to 5mg but can feel my heart beating faster and head tighten after I chain vape for a while. That's when I know I need to take a long break. I've heard of allergies to PG but not VG before.

gamerladymo Full Member

I'm almost 41 and have the same problem; I've been vaping off and on for five years, and been vaping seriously for a year now. I tried changing my VG/PG ratio, but what worked for me was changing my nic level. I had a lot of problems with flashes when I was vaping 24mg, but I dropped it down to 18.

darknecrotic Senior Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I wouldn't call what I experience 'hot flashes' just more of an intense nic buzz. I enjoy it though. In cold weather if I hit a high nic, I'll start to sweat and get a bit nauseous.
