PG tends to dry you out (so to speak), so I would think it would dry out any liquid in the lungs. There's not any scientific studies on it that I'm aware of, though.

I've wondered since my beginning vaping about fluid build up in the lungs. I mentioned it before and got poo pooed. I am kind of more concerned with VG, it is a humectrant. I did an experiment a month ago, I rubbed pure VG on both of my arms and put some on a section of my hair. It was oily at first then it turned sticky and really gross feeling.

Fluid wouldn't be able to build up unless you took in a ton of it. You would have massive coughing fits ..The lungs are constantly moving irritants out. We don't know the long term effects of the vapor but I too, agree, it is better than analog smoke
