I'm currently sitting in the movie theatre awaiting "J.Edgar" to begin, if anyone is aware it's a 2 hour 15 minute movie and I would not handle it too well without some Nicotine. THANK YOU PV ....but I'm sitting here wondering, has anyone ever run into any bad experiences vaping in a movie theatre?

dimo Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I personally will never vape inside of a movie theater. Sure it's not real smoke and doesn't smell and all that good business, but it is still a thick vapor that you're shooting into the air that, for a moment, can block someones view of the screen with a cloud of vapor. People will think you're smoking and they'll be .......

I never received an official answer, but I did inquire about AMC/Regal's stance on e-cigarettes. Amy Miles, CEO- AMC/Regal, inc., has been a client of the company I worked for. As we were discussing some of the services I inquired about usage. She was unaware of e-cigs' existence.

I plan on vaping next time I go to the theater, very discreetly though, with no vapor clouds.

I've tried vaping in a theater but I stopped after a few drags due to the sound of my carto.

I've been doing this regularly for almost 3 years. Sitting in or towards the back, obscuring the LED, holding it in an extra couple seconds and exhaling forcefully towards my lap. No problems yet.

Whenever I vape in the movies, I either stealth vape or I do the same thing DougieStyle and exhale into my jacket. Unless of course we sit in the very back, then there's really no worries. I try to be as aware of other people as I can and would rather avoid the "talk" of what it is, why I can "smoke" it inside, etc.

Anyone do it?? I occasionally go to movies but with the prices it is a rare occurrence. Never vaped in a movie theater before. Do any of you guys vape in the theater? Stealth for sure unless you were in the back row. If your in the very back you could probably rock a sub ohm coil and let loose some giant clouds.

BernieVideo Ultra Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I would not vape in the theater itself. Maybe in the lobby or corridors. Not in the theater. That's just asking for a confrontation.

I say this is one of the worst things vapers can do. It's one of those obvious things that makes non-vapers want to ban vaping .

Oh and pissing off even one person matters, you never know who it could be.
