Shortly after I began vaping, a few months ago, some taste buds at the back of my tongue began to hypertrophy, or enlarge. I had my dentist look at them, and he said that sometimes happens, and was nothing to worry about. It may or may not have anything to do with vaping.

YES, I am having swollen taste buds, tongue is sore and yes I think it's from vaping...I've been vaping about 4 months now.

I had some sinus irritation, throat and mouth irritation which all disappeared when I switched to Johnson Creek juice. You may want to try some other juices or ones with lesser amounts of flavors and see if you feel better. I won't go back to Chinese juice after JC. Everyone's different... try a switch to another type.

It's happened to me twice and now that I think about it, it was after marathon "sampling" sessions, esp of fruity flavors. I think I'm gonna stick to my Turtle, Waffle, and Kona Milkshake juices!
