When I first got LR cartos I had a similar problem. I was drawing the vapor right across my tongue and it was too hot, so iritating. A drip tip on the carto put the heating coil a little further away and i changed my draw so the vapor did not directly hit my tongue out of the cartomizer.

That happened to me when I started. Buy some eliquid with some VG in it. Try juices with 20-30% VG. Nicotine is a skin irritant. PG base lets through the most of nicotine's TH AND irritation and the most flavor. The vapor of medium or high nicotine in 100% PG can be irritating for the tongue and for some people's throat or lungs.

clint yeah i can appreciate there is a window of transition, the vapers tongue i can deal with but its the numbness that is causing me the concern.
