I sometimes get canker sore type spots in my mouth from vaping. Seems to happen worse if the vape is always hitting the same spot, and even more so when I'm routinely getting tiny droplets of unvaped nic liquid with the vape (wattage too low, etc).

A pg allergy is quite possible. Other members here, have reported the same issues. I'm only sensitive to it, so I can't give you accurate advice. Many vendors do make max vg (80+), you can try with that, first. There are other vendors that specialize in 100% vg, such as Vape Kitchen. Ask your supplier if they offer something like that.

It probably is from quitting smoking. I had them for 25 years, give or take. I quit smoking, took up vaping and they got worse.

Not sure about you but my wife got mouth sores from metal drip tips. I changed her to plastic and porcelain drip tips and she has never had the problem since. Something to think about anyways. CHEERS!

When I started vaping years ago. I used a top coil type tank; the Vivi Nova. The heat admitted from the atomizer literally burnt the tissue from my lips.
