BBC made a documentary on vaping. They took a lifelong non smoker and had him vape for a month. IIRC they found that after a month there didn’t seem to be any damage to the lungs but there was noticeable swelling and reddening to the throat.

Yes. It's not just water vapor, it can cause issues. Researchers have started to link asthma, slow healing, potentially cancer causing substinances, smokers cough and decreased lung capacity to vaping.

The way you talk about vaporizers, up to and including the BI article you linked, are laughably misinformed about how vaporizers are actually used. The overwhelming majority of people who use vaporizers don't patronize these pre-filled vape pens because they are literally scams! To talk about ecigs "being produced" with such and such nicotine content is out of touch and out of date...by at least 10 years. The last time I heard of these cartridges was easily latest in 2012, when gas stations were still peddling them.
