I use 30-34W normally and make satisfactory clouds at that setting. I also have the same problem with my T-Priv at times. I usually just back off the power or stop vaping for a while.

If you're getting a metallic taste, it's possible you got a coil that wasn't properly cleaned. Change it (some people rinse their coils or even soak them, if they are known offenders for this issue). You will at least be able to eliminate that variable....

Since idk if your issue is truely solved i'll add this : Whenever you're vaping have water at your side (always) if you really vape non stop for 10 mins you probably cough from dehydration, i always take a few sips of whatever liquid i have after about 2-3 vapes,yes i do cough sometimes too but mostly because sometimes i take in too much vapor and i end up chocking.
